Restaurant Closings

The Post runs a weekly column of restaurants closed by the health department for various infractions. I've always found it inspiring, maybe because something about restaurants is inherently funny. Anyway, here's one from a few years back.

Oddly enough, I've eaten at the Carpeteria.

"Restaurant Closings" is my favorite Almanack feature. It's possibly the most informative, as well.

It's my way of promoting home cooking.

And who can forget the frequent culinary disasters at good old P.J. Piehole's?

Hello. I like your blog and I see that you are talking about Carpeteria here. From this great site www.pissedconsumer.com i learned that Carpeteria stores provide a diverse range of carpet, vinyl and wood floor covering materials, area rugs, laminate, ceramic tile, granite, marble and different flooring related services such as expert installation. I have not yet bought anything from the company but I will consider the option.
