With many thanks to the mighty Chris Sparks, renaissance man (comics, cheesemongering, websites, etc.) I am proud to announce the launch of my website,
culdesacart.com. It's still being waxed and polished, and there'll be some additions over the summer and a bit of landscaping, but the construction is finished. And I think it looks pretty spiffy.

Bravo!
Very, very nice Richard!
The new site looks great Richard. I just poked around and enjoyed my time there very much.
Hi Richard. I bought your Cul-de-Sac book from a bargain store today and thought to myself, what a find!!!
Your style reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, and there you go.. Bill Watterson has a Foreword in your book. Awesome!
Cant wait to dwelve into the book. It's both drawn really fun and sketchy, and the topics of subburbia and good kid comics intrigued me.
Best of luck with future endeavours and I will keep checking back. All the best.

Sorry, one last thing. I noticed that you've already dived into animation with your creations(*I'm in the business myself) Is it all hand drawn of done in Flash? The style holds up really well in this medium. Looks great!
Maybe you could get heads & navigation (at least) redone with your own lettering? Okay, I am a 'Ban Comic Sans' sympathiser, I admit it. But there's nothing like your lettering.
We will have more news about Richards own lettering soon! I think Richards lettering is amazing. It will be working into the web in more ways than you think... :) Give us a little time, we are planing a lot of cool things!
That's one purty-lookin' site. Is the photograph your actual drawing table?
Ooh, you've got my attention ...
Paul, I have been bugging Mr. Thompson nuts the last 5 months. Im just glad he isnt sick of me...yet.
Just give us time. This site will be sooo cool!
Thanks! We'll be having Crazy Daze Sales, coupon giveaways, Ladies' Nights, Batting Helmet Day and many other very special events!
And yes, that's my drawing table. The shocked looking Mickey Mouse is a 2007 calendar my daughter gave me and I've never taken down.
Like the part about bugging Mr. Thompson nuts, too. — ha
I enjoyed browsing that whilst I scanned my dailies, ta!
Love it!! man I really need to make my website.. ~sigh~ one day :)
well if you ever need anything on the site let me know. I guess i need to make my own site!
Montgomery College in "Rockfield, MD"?? Well, yes, when I was growing up in Bethesda people who lived in Rockville were derogatively called farmers...I thought it was just a funny reference along with the "Milton F Sonny Clogg" award but oops it appears there was such an actual person, and award. OMG you learn something every day.
I think the new site is neato.
