More Rain

Like I said, drawing rain is hard, hough this came out OK. I'm starting to think that naturalism in a comic strip is the refuge of a lazy cartoonist. It'd be more interesting if the rain was funnier.

These are beautiful panels. I'm thinking about cutting them out and putting them up somewhere near my drawing table. And for what it's worth, the syndicate (or Boston Globe staff?) did a nice job on the coloring as well.

love the timing, and the rain. Watterson's rain is also worthy of note.

No "Richard's Poor" today in the Post? 8-(

That rain is awesome; just the way it looks in your mind when you utter a sentence like "and when we finally got there, it rained the whole time".
Also, todays "THE SUN IS OUT!" strip warmed my heart something fierce. Thanks!

An excellent sequence of panels. Like JP mentioned above, Watterson drew some pretty good rain too. I remember he wrote (in the tenth anniversary book?) that atmosphere is hard to depict with just pen & ink.

These panels do look good...

I've always wonder tho - how come you often draw Alice's head line through her nose and not so much with other characters?
