The Great Race
Several Metro stations around DC have glass elevators next to or between escalators, or vice versa. I get them confused too. This ran in the Post Mag in aught-six.
If I knew what I was talking about, I would say: I hereby witness the great milestone of '09 in cartoon art! Multi-directional, multi-destinational; it displays a strong aroma of health insurance crisis, mellowed only by early holiday-shopping happiness!

Bridget Riley eat your heart out! I have a headache from reading it, but I love it
What a great, inventive layout for a strip--awesome!
I sure wish that all the people in Montreal metro followed the "over to one side so people can get by" rule.
Loved the layout but more the gag.
best
Great layout !
Muzition: We here in DC wish people on the Metro would as well! Pity the poor tourist who doesn't stand on the right during rush hour.
Exhibit A in what comics can do better than any other art form.
WHAT HAPPENED TO RICHARD'S POOR ALMANAC? ARGH!! 3 WEEKS AND NO RPA!!!!
Pity the poor tourist who doesn't stand on the right during rush hour.
or, as I prefer to call them, "Dead Men Walking"
Woodrow, I'm just taking a break. RPA should be back next week.
