The Whole Thing 2

Annotated, copyedited, collated, and now covered. The only thing left to be done is the printing and gluing it or sewing or whatever they do to make it hold together And, of course, buying it.

It'll be available in Spring 2014 in conjunction with a two-man show of original cartoons at Ohio State's fabulous new $10 trilllion cartoon library. Bill Watterson will be the other man. Maybe he'll have a complete book of cartoons too! And I'll bet his'll be heavier!

Here are all the covers, to the books and the box.

This is grand news and I can't wait to see it. Lovely to hear about the show with that other fellow. What was his name again?

I already preordered the book!

YES! Every one I love around me is going to get this as a present, because frankly they need some Cul de Sac in their lives. But most importantly - one for myself.

I hope things are well.

Amazing news about the exhibit in Ohio, but too bad about that other dude piggybacking on your fame. I mean, I like that thing he did about the psychotic kid and his hallucinations, but what has he done lately?

Can't wait for the collection. I hope you are hanging in there.

How long am I going to have to lurk around this blog to learn what was meant at 12:05?

Nope, but I've got lots of cardboard left over from our move. Maybe I can work something out...

I am SO looking forward to this! And the Ohio exhibit! Well,... [In deep voice of "Coming Attractions" announcer:] Thompson. Watterson. Two contemporary geniuses. One exhibit. [Graphic of Alice, Petey, Dill, Calvin, Hobbes. Then, black screen followed by appearance of white text: "Spring 2014."]
