This is no plug for Zippy the Pinhead, but did you know that there have been some strange similarities between Zippy and the "Cul de Sac" strip over the past week? The God-themed strip of Dec. 12....

was quite similar to that found in Zippy's 12/12 strip [check zippythepinhead.com]. And if that weren't enough, things got stranger on the 17th, when (just two spots down on the Washington Post comics page) Cul de Sac reflected Zippy's odd use of the Marimba! Or is it the other way around?

Shocking! Just what is going on here? Are you two in cahoots?

Funny, Petey's evolved some, hasn't he? Hard to picture the Petey of e.g. today's strip falling back to outraged panic escape mode.

Best,

That is funny. "No matter how hard she tried...." Good job.
Oh my God. You are so good.
Hm, I noticed the marimba thing too. Curious.
I remember this one! The look on Petey's face...
Boy, I still miss Woodies.
Love this strip. The subtle colors are perfect.
