Since there's nothing easier than making fun of TV shows, I did these. "Flapjack" is the only thing I've ever written that always makes me laugh, but then, nothing's funnier than pancakes. Pancakes are comic gold. And laughing at your own jokes is the lowest form of comedy.

Don't be surprised if you get a call from a producer who thinks "..you GOT something to work with here. Say, that FLAPJACKs concept - that could be GREAT and if we can get that hot new kid..."
No really. Weirder stuff than these have had pilots filmed. (I used to work in Hollywood.)
dang.......now I want flapjacks for dinner...... sigh...:(
I think the folks at "Dead Like Me" stole your Flapjacks idea. Except for the dead people part.
If your caricature shaved his head "Travis Bickle" style and put on sunglasses, he'd look a lot like lovable loner Earl. Are you crying out for help, Richard?
I finally got your book today at Barnes & Noble after asking a clerk and spelling "Cul de Sac" for her. A computer search sent her off to the back room, and she slowly returned, reading one of the armful of copies she was going to put on the shelves. She made me wait several minutes as she stood behind the counter reading, chuckling and showing me strips. Fortunately for her my middle name isn't Earl.
BOO RADLEY~!
I don't get the joke about cancellation -- I think most of these shows were do just fine. Except the one where it just looks back at you, unless you could see them looking back at you, and they were really hot.
