Richard's Poor Almanac - The Book

Those of you unwilling to cough up $80 to $998.99 (or £268.55 in the UK) for a copy of the understandably scarce book collection of Richard's Poor Almanac will be happy to hear that now you can snag a copy for a more reasonable sum. One More Page Books, my friendly neighborhood bookstore that also stocks wine, has a supply of RPAs on hand, all signed by me. Copies are going for $15 (I think) and they'll ship your book right to your door for just $4. Run on over to 2200 N. Westmoreland Street, Suite 101 Arlington, VA,  22213 or call 703-300-9746 or email info@onemorepagebooks.com and tell 'em to give you a copy and quick, or you'll have some kind of Richard's Poor Almanac-related breakdown right on the spot. And maybe you should have some of that wine too.

These two tables used to be on the Amazon page for the Almanac. I don't know what they mean.

  2. Yeaaaah and weeeee. I'm not sure if I'll be able to snatch a copy, but I'll try as hard as I can! We'll see if it's an issue that I'm outside of the US, though I surely hope not.

I've been looking for Richard's Poor Almanac ever since the first Cul De Sac came out, but just couldn't split with my 100 dollars on Amazon or Ebay, not when I could get MORE Cul De Sac for that money (you see, I keep handing them out to my friends with statements like "You've GOT to read this").

Anyway. None of this is relevant to you, Richard, so just: "Weeeeeee".

  11. Richard, thank you for releasing those copies from captivity. I had been trying to get one for a couple of years; the bookstore staff has been very helpful. And I am not a robot.

  13. I better correct my previous statement for readers I've now c onvinced of the difficulty of obtaining Richard's Poor Almanac through One More Page Book: A simple phone call cleared the Richard's Poor Almanac Anxiety Gloom.

They're very friendly ladies, who're flooded with domestic and international requests and are simply working their way through the lists.

So to others from international places, be patient.

    Thanks again Richard.

  15. I spoke too soon it seems. I never heard back after an initial contact.

I shall hope for a rich uncle to be generous enough to buy me Richard's Poor Almanac from Amazon.
