Traditions are important; they're a way of saying, "I did it this way before and it seemed to work OK" or "I haven't got anything new." So to start the year off the same, here's a drawing of an elephant with a New Year's Baby. Because traditions are important, like I said.
Happy New Year Mr. Thompson, and thank you for the 2 classic strips in the "Golden Treasury" collection. The slow motion jack in the box, and haiku strips.
ReplyDeleteThank you, jdigriz! The haiku, in different form, originally ran as a Poor Almanac.
ReplyDeleteWow, Richard. You missed a bet, man... you could've done a terrified New Year's baby fleeing a scene of worldwide devestation and horror -- it being New Year's Day 2012 and all.
ReplyDeleteBut then, that's just me. (;^>
It looks kinda like younger Dill riding on an elephant with some camel ancestry....
