Today's Poor Almanack


This isn't entirely true. I did see Wall-E. And this may be the clumsiest lettering I've done, at least for this month.

    I believe the word is 'inanimate'. But then I could be wrong, it is late. I loved Cul de Sac this week, by the way. You capture certain very specific aspects of life so well, like jelly carts.

    Oh, jeez, I googled "inanimate" just to make sure I had it right, then lettered it wrong. More proof that lettering and spelling are in no way related. I hope the Post fixed their version....
