It's almost Back to School time here in Arlington County, where most schools let out late for the summer and starts up right after Labor Day. And time to buy new pants. This is from a few years ago and, once again, torn from the pages of the Cul de Sac book.
They all look beige to me too, Petey. And that's a good thing.

Paul, glad to hear it, 'cause I like her too, especially when she's loving her kids yet kinda embarrassing them at the same time. As mothers sometimes do.

ReplyDeleteNow I'm not referring to the dressing room itself but I was well into my 20's before my Mom stopped going into the dressing room area w/ me while yelling at me that, if neccessary, she could "take them up".
ReplyDeletethis is one of my favourites so far. maybe because of my own memories of shopping for beige pants with my mom, mixed with (older) memories of my siblings & i hiding under the clothesracks at sears. i guess the word here is "dead on". (except it's two words.)
